Online therapy for anxiety, overthinking and uncertainty
Anxiety can make your mind feel busy, alert and difficult to switch off. You may find yourself overthinking decisions, replaying conversations, preparing for worst-case scenarios or feeling unable to relax until you feel certain.
I support individuals who feel caught in cycles of worry, self-doubt, rumination and reassurance-seeking. My work is grounded in CBT and informed by ACT and CFT.
This may fit you if:
You overthink decisions and fear making the wrong choice
You replay conversations or worry about how you came across
You struggle with uncertainty and want reassurance
You feel tense, restless or mentally exhausted
You avoid situations because anxiety feels too overwhelming
You know your worries may not be fully rational, but they still feel powerful
How therapy can help
In therapy, we can explore how anxiety is maintained by thoughts, behaviours, avoidance, reassurance-seeking and underlying beliefs. We may work on practical CBT tools, acceptance-based strategies, compassion-focused exercises and deeper patterns that contribute to anxiety.
The aim is not to remove all anxiety. The aim is to help you relate to anxiety differently, reduce its impact and build more flexibility in how you respond.
My approach
My core training is in CBT. I also draw on ACT and CFT to make the work more personalised and well-rounded.
This means we may explore:
how your thoughts, feelings and behaviours interact
how to respond differently to worry and uncertainty
how to reduce avoidance and reassurance-seeking
how to soften self-criticism
how to reconnect with your values and priorities
how longer-standing patterns may be keeping anxiety in place
